Cyprus Gardens
Home Extension

We were commissioned to design this North London home extension, to provide additional family space and a therapy room.

The project aimed to focus on nature through the use of natural timbers in the roof and kitchen units.

As an additional extra, we were able to incorporate a DJ booth/snug to the family area.

We completed the Castle Park community project for East Herts District Council and Bishops Stortford Town Council after a seven year journey. The project creatively re-uses and retrofits three existing buildings to form a cluster of community facilities with a mixed purpose hall, public toilets (including a Changing Places room) and a new cafe. The buildings have been overclad to incorporate additional insulation and provide them with a new modern appearance appropriate to the parkland setting. The project was delivered with the help of Heritage Lottery Funds.

The Hayloft
Home Extension

The Client approached us after purchasing the property and wanting to use architects to modernise the interior and crucially replace three separate existing extensions, which were inefficient and not cohesive in their design. The house also had a bad good connection to the garden, with a WC and utility space blocking access and views.
