We are pleased to have gained planning permission for a modern curved extension to a locally listed building within a conservation area in St Albans. The designs seek to unify the rear ground floor with one architectural gesture and relate to the structured landscaped garden. The extension is sympathetic with bricks matching the original house but includes a bold overhanging roof and sweeping curved glazed facade to open the living space to the beautiful garden beyond. We are now developing the detailed design drawings with the client and hope to be on site with this project soon.
