We have submitted planning for this exciting new build family home in St Albans. The house will occupy a vacant backland site behind a mature tree line and the design responds to the topography and context. The house is conceived as a series of volumes that spiral around a central point and each one offers different views. A mono pitch roof allows for clerestory glazing and therefore dual aspect to most rooms. The home accommodates 4 bedrooms and study space with open plan living and separate lounge space. The design will include sustainable features such as PV and heat pump, along with super insulated walls and mechanical ventilation and heat recovery.
