We have successfully converted this old hospital chapel, and previous industrial unit, into 6 new characterful flats. The design seeks to celebrate and retain the original church architecture wherever possible and integrate it into these unique homes. The flats are all duplex and the ground floor flats have mezzanine levels that overlook the double height spaces from between the original arches.
The building has been upgraded with new double glazing, that retains the form and style of the original church windows. Solar panels were also incorporated onto the roof and the required internal upgrades for acoustics and fire carefully coordinated, whilst retaining period features.
