Completed House Refurbishment in St Albans

We have helped transform this modest bungalow in St Albans into a generous family home, with a whole house renovation and reconfiguration.  The key move was to remove the existing roof structure and ceiling and open the living spaces up with a vaulted roof space supported by oak timber trusses.  These oak trusses are structural but also bring character and warmth to the space.  The hallway was also reconfigured and vaulted to bring more space and light into a previously dark and cramped entrance way.

All windows and doors were replaced, along with fascias and soffits, which all contributed to giving the external appearance of the house a new fresh aesthetic.  Insulation was added where possible along with under floor heating throughout.
