This is an exciting LETI exemplar retrofit home extension project we have completed in St Albans.
This 1950’s semi-detached house has been transformed from a damp, uninsulated and cramped home into a comfortable, super insulated and airtight, low energy, family dwelling.
A single storey rear extension, loft conversion with dormer window and front porch has provided an additional master bedroom suite and new open plan living, kitchen, dining space. The extension is timber framed and clad in larch timber.
